ANTON PALEPOI

OWNER & FOUNDER

Anton Palepoi

Owner & Founder

While staying close to his family, friends, and wife Octavia, he attended Ricks College, Dixie College, and UNLV… After earning numerous accolades in college, he earned a spot at the NFL Combine. Anton left UNLV early, and earned a 2002 NFL 2nd round draft pick to the Seattle Seahawks. He played 5 years total, from 2002-2007. Anton began coaching as a Defensive Assistant with University of Utah Football program in 2015 until 2019 all while and earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University. In 2019, Anton and Octavia started Pro Tech Trenches LLC. Now, he is making each day count, by making a difference in the lives of football players of ALL ages, teaching athletes special techniques proper mindsets that are sought after by college and professional football coaches. Anton and Octavia live in Salt Lake City, Utah. They have 7 children, Elle, Ryce, Farrah, Priest, Francis, Octavian, and Anton Jr.

Brian Blechen

Brian Blechen

Prior to joining Pro Tech, Coach Brian Blechen spent 2018-2021 at Colorado Mesa University as the Linebackers coach, and Safeties coach. Blechen spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons with the University of Utah Football program as a Defensive Assistant, specializing in Safeties and Linebackers. Blechen played football at University of Utah, where he was an All-American Safety, a four-year starter, and a Senior Team Captain. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Utah. After graduating from the University of Utah, Blechen went on to play in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers for 3 years as a Linebacker and a Safety.

Born and raised in Utah, Coach Barton made his dream a reality of being able to play football at the highest level. He graduated from Brighton High School in 2013 and would go on to play collegiate football at the University of Utah for 5 years as an Offensive Tackle. While at Utah he was able to earn First Team All PAC 12 honors as an OT and go on to play in the East and West Shrine Game. He was drafted in 2019 by the Indianapolis Colts, and has been on 5 different NFL teams. He is currently playing with the Arizona Cardinals. Jackson and his wife, Kellsie, have 3 children Cohen, Lyla, and Graham.

Devin Kaufusi

Devin Kaufusi

Coach Devin Kaufusi is originally from Provo, Utah, where he attended Timpview High School. During his high school career, he achieved notable success as a three-time State Champion and earned 1st Team All-State honors. Transitioning to college football, Kaufusi began at BYU before transferring to Utah, where he played a pivotal role in securing two Pac-12 Championships. Recognized for his leadership qualities, Kaufusi was honored to be voted team captain by his teammates. Throughout his college career, he showcased versatility on the field, excelling as a Linebacker, Defensive End, and Defensive Tackle. Coach Kaufusi plays a pivotal role in ProTech’s vision for teaching athletes skill, technique, and fostering leadership abilities.

Daniel Palepoi

Daniel Palepoi

Coach Daniel Palepoi, born and raised in Utah, is the younger brother to Coach Anton Palepoi. A standout at Bingham High School, Daniel earned All-State honors as a running back, showcasing his exceptional skills and determination. His talent and hard work led him to Snow College, where he became the starting running back and further honed his craft. Daniel is a devoted family man. He and his wife Taylor share two children Perry and Lanu. His passion for football extends beyond personal achievements; Daniel is deeply committed to helping young athletes elevate their game. His coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that excellence in football requires not only physical prowess but also mental acuity and disciplined technique. He strives to instill these values in his players, guiding them to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Neil Pau’u

Neil Pau’u

Before joining Pro Tech, Coach Pau’u was born and raised in Santa Ana, California, and graduated from Servite High School in 2014 where he played Quarterback, and Receiver. Pau’u committed to BYU and served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pau’u returned from his mission and played Wide Receiver at BYU from 2017-2021 for the Cougars while totaling 1,484 receiving yards on 123 catches, including 13 touchdown grabs. Pau’u then signed an NFL free agent contract in 2022 with the Buffalo Bills.
